Equipment
Yak-42 aircraft is equipped with Olkha-1 navigation system and FES VSP-1-6 that enable the self-contained navigation of the aircraft. Automatic control system SAU-42 allows the aircraft landing under minimum category II ICAO conditions. Yak-42 aircraft equipment also includes two automatic direction finders, VOR/ILS system Kurs-MP-70, and short-range radio technical navigation system Beep-M.
